Our client is a UK wide consultancy providing internal audit services to public sector clients. Due to an increase in demand for their services, an additional Principal Auditor is needed to work with a number of their clients in Scotland. Based from home, you will perform internal audit reviews, plan, test, make recommendations and report these to senior management. Your remit will include allocating work to staff and attending Audit Committees when necessary. Ideally you will possess 3 years` internal audit experience and hold a relevant professional qualification. Experience of auditing within the public sector, in particular in the housing sector, will be beneficial, however it is crucial you possess a strong and tactful personality, a mature and flexible manner and excellent communication skills.
